I don't like thinking of titles.....

PHEW! I'm glad I got that off my chest :) We have been crazy around here. Well, I have been crazy, everyone else just goes along with it to make me feel better. A few weeks ago Caelynn got really sick. She was sick for over two weeks. So of course....about 10 days ago, Mike and I came down with it. Mike was worse than I was. He is still not feeling great. And on top of dealing with 3 kids while we were both sick.....the semi-annual consignment sale is this weekend! So I had to get over 200 items of clothing ready. That means I have to hang, de-wrinkle, tag, number, and enter them into the computer. It's not hard labor, but it takes some time.

The JumpNJax Kids Consignment sale is this Thursday-Saturday. Thursday and Friday from 10-6 and Saturday from 10-8. There is a TON of stuff!!!!! It is located in Mandarin in the outback plaza on San Jose Blvd. It is just north of the interstate on San Jose. Well worth the drive!

Okay...now that I've gotten in my advertisement I can talk about what I actually logged in to talk about.( did that make ANY sense? I didn't think so ) I'm sure moms everywhere know what I mean when I say....there are very, very few pictures of me. I'm not saying that I want my picture taken, but if anything ever happened to me, I want there to be some evidence that my children actually had a mother. KWIM? I am always the one behind the camera. Of course that is where I love to be, but every once in a while I need to remember to remove the camera from my hand and let someone else take a picture with me in it.

I don't remember who i was talking to and I said " I hate having my picture taken unless I'm dressed nice and have all my make-up on." and this sweet elderly woman said " Well honey....no matter how bad you think you look, let someone take your picture. Because in 30 years you will wish you looked like that again. You will wish you had more pictures."

I thought about what she said. She is soo right.

So in honor of the sweet old lady that told me that.......I let Mike take a few pics of me when we were at the park the other day. Only one has passed my rigorous test for approval and here it is.

I know...it not even my whole face....but it's better than nothing. We are going on a 4 day vacation to Daytona soon and I promise to try to get more pics. ( don't get too excited...no cameras will be allowed when I am in my bathing suit) I will try not to be such a blogging slacker...but I can't make any promises.

Sweet little man

Landon turned 5 months old on Saturday. I can't believe he is already so old! He is such a joy. He loves to snuggle and smiles at just about everything. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter baby.

Peas Anyone?

Yay! My mom made Parker and Caelynn the cutest little aprons and matching chef hats! Parker and Caelynn both LOVE to help me cook. Parker helps more often than Caelynn, but she will do more as she gets older. They had a blast playing with the cooking stuff. They even rolled dough! I just had to have pictures of this. They fight a lot lately, so it is so nice to see them playing nicely with each other. They played forever!!! Thanks mom! I love the aprons!!!!

These boots are made for.....TROUBLE!

My Mom bought these boots for Caelynn a long time ago. She is still not quite big enough for them, but she found them today and has not taken them off since. Caelynn tends to pick a pair of shoes as her favorite, and then she has to wear them everyday. It doesn't matter what outfit I put on her, she still insists on wearing the favorite shoes. Lately she has loves boots. Her favorite attire is princess panties and pink boots. Nothing else. Occasionally she adds a tutu to complete the ensemble. She says that she "wubs" ("loves" - for those of you who don't speak toddler) these boots. They have sparkles and butterflies on them. I have a feeling I will get to see a lot of these boots.

Playing in the Rain

Today we decided to get out of the house and go visit my friend. Her kids were going crazy and so were mine, so we figured if we got them together, maybe they would distract each other and they would just "play". It worked!!! Even though it started raining, they still played great! No fighting or anything! It's amazing. We actually got to have a conversation....Imagine...and adult conversation. Wow...its been a while!

So we let them play in the rain. Don't worry...it wasn't thundering or lightning. Just drizzling. They had a great time. I snapped a few pictures of the dripping boys. They are the best of friends :)

Recipes anyone?

I love to cook. I have always loved to cook. Since I was about 4 years old I sat and watched cooking shows on TV. When I was 6, I started cooking meals for the family. I would make breakfast in bed and try to do "fancy" dinners. I used to have Ryan dress up as my waiter and serve my parents. Well, I still love to cook. New things, old things, it doesnt matter.

I am also VERY organized! ( read that with a sarcastic tone ) So you can imagine how I keep my recipes. They are written on everything from old bills, to packing slips. Cards to napkins. So I have decided to treat myself to something pretty to look at while I cook. For a couple days I have been taking some time to create pretty recipe cards for all my favorites. I am eventually going to do them all, but with 3 kids that

might take a while..

Back Patting :)

As many of you know, I like to sew and paint and do artsy things. I have been selling on ebay for a few years and recently took a break. I just didnt think I would have time with my third baby coming. And I was right. I don't have the time. But I love to do it and so when my friend Angie asked me to paint a tote to match her amazing set, I couldn't resist. Angie, MC, and Tracy were nice enough to let me match them and it turned out great!!! You have to check it out! You can search "Sea Friendz" on ebay. Or you can follow this link. I am giving myself a pat on the back for being able to finish on time with my children doing thier best to stop me. Caelynn even got a hold of my paint when I wasn't looking and painted orage paint all over the almost finished tote. As you can imagine, I FREAKED OUT!!! But luckily, I caught it while it was still wet and I was able to wash it all off. PHEW! Here is a couple pics of the whole ensemble. Thanks to Angie for taking the pics! They turned out great!!!

Happy 4th!

Okay...so I know Im a few days late on this, but that's just how things happen around here. I hope everyone had a great 4th. We had a nice day. Mike was sick, but not doing too bad. We went to the parade in town in the morning and then browsed the craft show. The best part.....NAP TIME :) WE all came home hot and tired and took naps. Not very productive, but we needed it. I needed it.

In the afternoon we headed over to our friend Melissa's for a party with our Sunday School class. It was a good time. The kids had so much fun playing and we had a good time getting to socialize with our friends. There were a TON of kids there. I was so surprised that the whole time we were there I never saw any kids fight or pick on each other. They all got along and shared. It was amazing!

We all drove down to the lake to see the fireworks. All in all it was a great time of fellowship and fun. I hope we get to do it again.
